Fabrication & Design

Additional Capabilities

Cross-specialty engineering and creative support when you need more.

Why it matters

Real projects rarely stay inside a single box. You may need a control panel and an app, a STEM kit and 3D-printed parts, or consulting that spans shop floor and software.

Adapted Products is built for that overlap. When your work needs adjacent skills, we can help connect the pieces instead of forcing you to stitch vendors together alone.

Our approach

Adjacent engineering and creative work when your project needs more than one specialty.

1

Listen for the whole problem

Understand goals across hardware, software, and process.

2

Scope honestly

Separate must-haves from nice-to-haves so efforts stay focused.

3

Combine specialties

Bring the right mix from our service set to the project.

4

Communicate clearly

Keep stakeholders aligned when work spans disciplines.

5

Leave you stronger

Document and hand off so your team can carry the system forward.

Offerings

Representative ways we can help. Exact scope is defined with you for each engagement.

Cross-disciplinary projects

Work that blends controls, apps, modeling, and fabrication thinking.

Prototype systems

End-to-end demos that prove an idea before larger investment.

Technical consulting

Second opinions and planning help when the path is unclear.

Custom requests

If it fits our engineering + creative strengths, ask — we will tell you plainly if it does not.

Standards we design to

Extra fabrication and shop capabilities still need a quality backbone. We work with an ISO 9001-style quality mindset — disciplined documentation and change control — without claiming a formal certification we have not published here.

ISO 9001 quality mindset

A process-oriented quality framework used worldwide — define the work, do it consistently, check results, and improve.

How we follow it: We scope jobs clearly, capture requirements, and review deliverables against that scope. We do not claim ISO 9001 certification on this site.

Documentation standards

Drawings, travelers, and handoff notes are part of the product when multiple people touch a job.

How we follow it: We keep work instructions and as-built notes proportional to the job complexity so the next person is not starting from scratch.

Change control

Mid-job changes are normal; undocumented changes are how scrap and arguments start.

How we follow it: Material, dimension, or process changes get a written acknowledgment before we proceed, with impact on schedule and cost called out.
